    Hanlin A6 with Sipix display 

    The A6 is a Kindle clone based on the new 6” Sipix screen. Like all e-readers with this screen, it also has a capacitive touchscreen and Wifi. Below the screen are 5 shortcut buttons (home, font size, bookmark, menu, back) and a keyboard.

    …The reading experience is okay, but the page turn speed was rather slow. By itself this is a decent e-reader. But when you compare it to the rest of the market, it’s rather expensive and doesn’t have features to justify its cost…

    Asus DR-900 now available in Russia

    Asus’ new 9″ e-reader was unveiled in Russia this week, making it the 3rd large screen e-reader in the country. It’s based on a Sipix screen and it has the same specs as when it was released in Taiwan: Wifi, 2GB Flash, microSD card slot, speakers, and a headphone jack. Battery life is 4 days (Wifi on) and 2 weeks (Wifi off). And the retail is 14,990 rubles (about $500 USD).
